Over the past couple of weeks I have been working with a group of amazing individuals to help a 3.5 year old little Syrian boy named Joud Haider. He has been diagnosed with Hydrocephalus, liquid in the brain, which has left him unresponsive and increasingly suffering damage to the brain. Due to harsh sanctions on Syria he is unable to get the operation and treatment he requires there. Joud is one of thousands suffering unnecessary because of the sanctions we imposed. We have arranged for him to be transported to a hospital in Malaysia to undergo neurosurgery and physical therapy to regain some active control of his life. At the moment while travel arrangements are being made he has also contracted chicken pox and is being quarantined. Time is of the essence to save this baby and he needs your help, all of our help! To keep things transparent I will only be paying money collected directly to the trust account of the reputable hospital in Malaysia. This cause is as legitimate as they come and we humbly ask for your help. My aim is to reach 1,700 people to give $10 each. Records will be kept and the money released accordingly. With the permission of his mother I will keep you all updated on fundraising and his progress. Anyone that is unable to donate can help by sharing my post. The operation is booked in for 15 January 2018 so time is very limited. Let’s band together to make this happen and I will prove to you how far $10 can really go. I am committed to full transparency and to doing what we can for this one child today. Tomorrow we will help them all. You will see posts from other people on this from around the world, we are all trying to get this done. Your prayers, donation, shares and comments are so very welcome. Donations (no fees) can be made via paypal using the this link: https://www.paypal.me/helpjoud or this paypal email: HELPJOUD@OUTLOOK.COM I have also sent up a mycauses.com.au donation page (5% fees) for those that cannot use paypal: https://www.mycause.com.au/…/help-joud-toddler-needs-neuros… All questions will be answered in the comments below. Thank you
